I was born and raised here in Tampa and am the oldest of three siblings.  I have a 19 year old sister and a 2 year old brother.  I went through all of my schooling at Tampa schools and am a graduate of Plant High School.

I currently attend the University of South Florida and am an Early Childhood Education major focusing on teaching pre-k 4 and kindergarten in the future.  I am very involved on campus at USF.  Being a cheerleader for 15 years, I participate in two spirit squads on campus.  I am an original member of USF Goal Girls, for USF Men’s Soccer, and am a USF Diamond Doll, for USF Baseball.  I am also a sister of Gamma Phi Beta on USF’s campus.

Before attending USF, I went to school in Greensboro, NC and attended Greensboro College for two years studying Sociology.  Although I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher, I finally chose the education path this year at USF.

I was a preschool aide during summers while in high school and home from college.  During the 2014-2015 school year, I was an aide in a young-3’s classroom and knew teaching was my passion.

I love getting to meet new students and to have the opportunity to teach them in ways that work best for them!

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and after being there dealing with “the windy city” I am so thankful for Florida winters. I enjoy just about all sports, football being my favorite. I have always enjoyed teaching and ever since I was young I can remember instructing younger kids on how to do things, and the gratifying feeling it gave me. It took me a little time as an adult to realize teaching was my true calling. After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Business Management, it didn’t take too long in the business world to realize that I was missing the mark. I went back to school and earned my Masters Degree in Education. After teaching in Illinois for three years, we decided that we were done with the cold.  That is when my wife, our four children and I relocated to Tampa, Florida.
